A little bit history

Besançon and Vesoul were linked by railway in 1870. In a context of traffic decline, SNCF (a public company) decided to stop definitively this way of transport.

Since 1998 and with the help of public authorities, a part of this old railway become a pleasant footpath.

Which users on the green path?

Even if you are in wheelchair you can enjoy the first part of the green path that links to Fontenois-les-Montbozon / Vesoul.

The second part (Devecey – Moncey) is dedicated to bicycles and pedestrian.
